Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to be an integral part of our thriving community. We are thrilled to announce that CCPS has earned the Florida Department of Education’s highest distinction of being an “A-rated” district for the 2023-24 School Year. Building on this success, we remain committed to continuous improvement and reflection. At CCPS, we are dedicated to preparing Collier County’s youth for future success by linking education to student achievement and local economic development. Our goal is to ensure a bright future for every student, which can only be achieved through a robust education system, exceptional teachers and school administrators, an effective and efficient district, engaged parents, and a community working together to support our students.
Our Pathway to Excellence five-year strategic plan will guide us from the 2024-2025 school year through June 2029. We deeply appreciate the contributions from community members, staff, parents, and students who helped shape this plan. The plan prioritizes goals based on the feedback received during the planning process; details of this process can be found in the Executive Summary.
This pathway to excellence underscores our commitment to education by enhancing internal systems for greater efficiency and student success, ensuring strong financial planning, expanding our infrastructure to accommodate community growth, and focusing on attracting and retaining the best staff possible. An engaged workforce, operational excellence, and targeted academics will drive student success.
While this plan highlights key priorities, it does not encompass all the work of CCPS. In addition to the goals outlined in the plan, we will continue to use data to support individualized learning, provide high-quality professional development for staff, and maintain our commitment to the arts, STEAM, athletics, and more. We remain steadfast in our commitment to recruit, retain, and support the best possible staff, as our teachers and staff are our most important investment in the future of our students.

Delivery high quality standards-aligned instruction, differentiated to empower students to graduate full prepared with the academic capacity and career-ready skills for success in higher education, workforce training, military service, or professional endeavors.

Safe Learning Environment
Ensure that every student, family member, and staff is provided with a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment in our schools, which includes physical safety, personal safety, internet safety, and consistency of behavioral expectations.

Fiscal Responsibility and Workplace Efficiency
Maximize resources and streamline processes to increase efficiency and transparency to support learning.

Recruitment and Retention
Enhance the employee experience to ensure a high-quality workforce through recruitment, support, and retention efforts.

Increase and differentiate communication while expanding engagement opportunities with CCPS.
