Message from Principal Dr. Tobin Walcott

  • School Principal" It is my distinct pleasure and sincere honor to personally welcome you to Golden Gate High School, “Home of The Titans.” As Principal of Golden Gate High School, my duty is to serve you, our students and families. Our mission is to ensure achievement for all students, and together, we can accomplish great things in the classroom as well as in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Our philosophy is founded on the principles of “SELF-LEADERSHIP and RESPECT” focused on a common school culture of ACADEMICS – BEHAVIOR – CLIMATE…we call it “The Titan Way.” Golden Gate High School teachers and staff take great pride in working to ensure that our students have every opportunity to succeed. Their tireless effort and commitment will make a difference in the lives of our students and will continue to move our school forward. Your support and commitment to Golden Gate High School will provide the foundation from which school and community pride will continue to flourish. Our academic programs, academies, elective courses, activities, athletics, and clubs are a shining example of what it means to be a Titan. Respect, self-leadership, hard work, dedication, and teamwork are some of the characteristics of doing things “The Titan Way.” I am extremely grateful and appreciative of the extra time, effort, and sacrifice both staff and students have contributed to help make Golden Gate High a school of which we can all be proud. Their dedication and pride serves as a model for others to follow. One of our primary goals is to involve parents and the community in carrying out Golden Gate High School’s mission. In order to accomplish this lofty goal, I invite you to join us on the School Advisory Council, Academic Booster Club, Athletic Events, or any of our many activities and trainings. Thank you, and join us as we continue to build our traditions in the spirit of “The Titan Way. "
