    PERSONAL FINANCIAL LITERACY & MONEY MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION


    In accordance with School Board Policy 2520, the Superintendent will make a recommendation for the adoption of the Personal Financial Literacy & Money Management Instructional Materials at the School Board meeting on May 14, 2025.  The Superintendent’s recommendation is based upon her review of the Personal Financial Literacy & Money Management Instructional Materials Review Work Groups’ recommendation. A public hearing will be held to provide an opportunity for public input regarding the instructional materials being recommended for adoption.

    Our Mission:

    The Instructional Materials Department will provide high quality, standards aligned, and content rich resources and materials to enhance teaching, foster learning, and provide exceptional educational opportunities for all students.

    Florida Statutes: 

    Per Florida Statue 1006.283, Collier County Public School's Instructional Materials Program adheres to a process that includes review, recommendation, adoption, and purchase of instructional materials. All parents and guardians have the ability to access and review their children’s instructional materials and are encouraged to access at any time. To request to review materials and/or resources, please visit the following page: Request to Review.

    Each year instructional materials are reviewed and considered for adoption, please see calendars below.

    2023-2024 through 2027-2028

    Instructional materials are selected in compliance with Florida Statute 1006.31 and Board Policy 2520. Parents interested in reviewing instructional materials or reviewing the Instructional Materials Work Group Calendar/Meetings and related documentation may contact (239) 377-0103 for more information.

    Parents or community members interested in reviewing currently adopted instructional materials may contact the Instructional Materials Department members below. Please share the specifics regarding your requests for textbook review. Please note that textbooks may not leave the building.
