THE MATERMATICS FOR COLLEGE LIBERAL ARTS INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS REVIEW GROUP
The Mathematics for College Liberal Arts Instructional Materials Review Work Group has met, reviewed materials, received publisher presentations, and provided a ranked list of the instructional materials of the highest quality and best aligned with state standards. These materials were opened for public review by the School Board at the May 9, 2023, Special School Board Meeting/Hearing.
Parents or community members who have objections to instructional materials based on errors or a belief there is bias within these materials should submit objections using the Mathematics for College Liberal Arts Instructional Materials Review Objection Form (click here). Objection forms must include the name of the textbook with page numbers. Only those objections containing references to specific page numbers with respect to contested material/content in the given textbook being objected to will be accepted.
All objections are due by 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2023. In accordance with School Board Policy 2520, the Board shall conduct a public hearing only on such timely received petitions and provide the petitioner(s) written notification of the date and time of the hearing at least ten (10) calendar days before the hearing.

MATHEMATICS FOR DATA & FINANCIAL LITERACY INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION
In accordance with School Board Policy 2520, the Interim Superintendent will make a recommendation for the adoption of Mathematics for Data & Financial Literacy Instructional Materials at the School Board meeting on June 13, 2023. The Superintendent’s recommendation is based upon her review of the Mathematics for Data & Financial Literacy Instructional Materials Review Work Groups’ recommendation.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS DEPARTMENT
The Instructional Materials Department will provide high quality, standards aligned, and content rich resources and materials to enhance teaching, foster learning, and provide exceptional educational opportunities for all students.
Per Florida Statue 1006.283, Collier County Public School's Instructional Materials Program adheres to a process that includes review, recommendation, adoption, and purchase of instructional materials. All parents and guardians have the ability to access and review their children’s instructional materials and are encouraged to access at any time. Instructional materials are selected in compliance with Florida Statute 1006.31 and Board Policy 2520.
