Welcome to Lavern Gaynor Elementary School, home of the Sea Turtles! It is my great honor to be the Principal of a Leader in Me school. Lavern Gaynor implements the Franklin Covey Leader in Me framework.  As a Leader in Me school, our students lead and learn using the habits, skills and strategies that develop their own unique leadership abilities.   Our LGE Sea Turtles will grow both academically and personally as they set and work towards their Wildly Important Goals (WIGS). We believe that the partnership between home and school results in students who are prepared for both life and learning. Please partner with us at LGE and take advantage of the opportunities we are eager to provide, including our School Advisory Council (SAC), Parent Lighthouse Team, and our Family Literacy and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) events.
