A Clear Path to Enrollment in Collier County Public Schools

A Clear Path to Enrollment in Collier County Public Schools

CCPS is the proven choice for education in Collier County. To ensure new students are ready to start on day one, we encourage families to complete the online enrollment process by July 15.

When it comes to your child[ren]’s education, families across Collier County are choosing a school system they can trust. In fact, nearly 89% of school-age families in Collier County choose public education in our district. Whether you are new to our community, transitioning from private or home education, or exploring a different public school option, Collier County Public Schools is ready to welcome you.

Find your child’s neighborhood school based on your home address

As the only A-rated school district in Southwest Florida, CCPS represents The Proven Choice for academic excellence, student opportunity, and a supportive community that puts children first. If you are considering enrolling your child in their neighborhood school or exploring options across our district, getting started is simple and designed with families in mind.

New to CCPS or Starting Kindergarten?

If your child is entering kindergarten or joining Collier County Public Schools for the first time, we have made the enrollment process simple and convenient through our Centralized Online Enrollment system.

We understand that enrolling in a new school system can feel overwhelming, especially for families who are new to the community or transitioning from a different educational setting. Our online process is designed to guide you step by step, making it easy to complete your child’s enrollment from anywhere. Student Enrollment and Student Registration refer to the same Centralized Online Enrollment process. Any student returning to CCPS after withdrawing must also complete enrollment through this online system.

Get started on the enrollment process

If you need assistance at any point, the CCPS support team is here to help. You are never navigating this process alone.

Understanding Your Public School Options

For more than 100 years, and in accordance with Florida law, Collier County Public Schools has been committed to educating the children of our community. Understanding the differences between public school options can help you make the best choice for your child.

  • CCPS neighborhood schools are operated by Collier County Public Schools and provide consistent academic programs, access to districtwide resources, established attendance zones, free transportation options, and a full range of student services, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
  • Charter schools are public schools that operate independently under a performance contract. Enrollment is handled directly by each individual charter school, not by Collier County Public Schools, and each charter school establishes its own application processes, timelines, and procedures.

CCPS Parental Choice Options

In addition to your zoned school, families may apply for Parental Choice to attend another CCPS school with available space. This option provides added flexibility while keeping your child enrolled in a high-performing school operated by Collier County Public Schools.

  • Applications are encouraged by June 30, 2026
  • Placement is based on school capacity and program availability

If you are interested in Parental Choice after June 30, please contact Giuseppe Marra, Assistant Director of Student Assignment & Data Reporting, at marrag@collierschools.com or call (239) 377-0549 for guidance.

Transferring from a Charter School

If your child currently attends a charter school located in Collier County and you are considering a change, your neighborhood CCPS school is ready to support a smooth transition. Parents do not need to complete Centralized Online Enrollment.

Simply contact your zoned CCPS school and let them know you would like to enroll your child. If you try to contact a school during the summer and the office is closed, feel free to email registration@collierschools.com and we will help you get what you need.

If Your Child Attends an Out-of-Zone School

You are just a call away. Contact your zoned CCPS school to begin the transition back to your neighborhood school. If you are attempting to contact a school during the summer months when offices may be closed, please email registration@collierschools.com for assistance.

If Your Child is in Home Education

Two simple steps will get you started. Submit your termination of program form, then complete Centralized Online Enrollment to officially enroll your child in CCPS.
