The Proven Choice for Your Child

The Proven Choice for Your Child

Read a year-end message for families from Superintendent Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli.

Dear Families,

As we reflect on the school year, I want to thank you for choosing Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) for your child[ren]. Our focus is clear: delivering proven excellence, providing meaningful opportunities for every student, building schools and relationships families can count on, and preparing students for what comes next.

As we celebrate the close of another successful school year, we invite you to share your child’s accomplishments with friends and family. To help celebrate these milestones, we have created a set of end-of-year badges designed to highlight your child’s experience through printing or posting on social media. We encourage you to download a badge, pair it with a photo if you wish, and share your child’s achievements. We would love to see your posts, so be sure to tag @collierschools and include #TheProvenChoice so we can celebrate alongside you.

Summer is here! While we hope our students take time to rest, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends, CCPS also offers optional learning opportunities to help them stay engaged and prepared for the next school year. Families can explore the CCPS Classics reading list, participate in virtual field trips, and learn more about the New Worlds Reading Initiative, which provides eligible students with free books. Thank you again for your partnership, support, and trust throughout this school year. We wish you and your family a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer, and we look forward to welcoming our students back in August for another outstanding year in CCPS.

With appreciation,

Dr. Leslie C. Ricciardelli
