     Referendum Allow up to .35 mill OPERATING tax
    District reduces up to .35 mill CAPITAL tax

  • REFERENDUM HISTORY:

    Collier County Public Schools Referendum In 2008, Collier County voters supported the first tax-neutral referendum to provide operating flexibility support for the schools

    In 2012, Collier County voters voted to renew the referendum, allowing continued  flexibility

    In 2016, the referendum funding ended

    Since 2016, Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) has used budget reserves to maintain
    staffing and programs, each year reducing the budget reserve to support operating expenses
