• Program Overview

    Upon graduating from the Dental Assisting Program the student will be able to perform different types of patient care, office and laboratory duties.

    The student will be able to assist the dentist and other dental auxiliary to provide more efficient dental treatment. A major part of the program includes externships in various dental offices throughout Collier County.

  • Program Structure and Courses

    • This program is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of 3 occupational completion points. This program is comprised of courses which have been assigned course numbers in the SCNS (Statewide Course Numbering System) in accordance with Section 1007.24 (1), F.S. Career and Technical credit shall be awarded to the student on a transcript in accordance with Section 1001.44(3) (b), F.S.
