Dr. Luke Dollar Visit - August 28, 2015

  • To engage students and bring science education to life, Dr. Luke Dollar, a Conservation Scientist and National Geographic Emerging Explorer spoke with fourth graders about his extensive work studying the fosa, a rare, carnivorous predator species native to the island of Madagascar. The event, made possible through a partnership between the Naples Zoo, Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) and National Geographic Learning (NGL), took place at the Naples Zoo, one of the few zoos in the nation where the public can view this endangered species.
