Young Scientists Honored at State Competition

Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) would like to congratulate our students who did an outstanding job at the 60th Annual State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida. A total of 13 Collier County middle and high school students attended the fair in Lakeland from March 31st – April 2nd, 2015. 

Eleven of the students took home awards, including a 1st place winner in middle school environmental science and a 2nd place winner in middle school chemistry. A full list of awards is included below. One student, Keri Mulhern of Palmetto Ridge High School, was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to the University of Florida.
