Welcome to Health Services
School health services are provided to all students in Collier County Public Schools through collaborations with various partners. Health care services, provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and school health assistants through a contract with NCH Healthcare System, help to ensure that students are in school and ready to learn. Our school health team works closely with parents to prevent health problems and encourage appropriate utilization of medical and dental services and community health agencies. Our team focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, early identification, intervention and referral for acute and chronic health problems.
The School District coordinates with the Florida Department of Health, Collier County, to provide state-mandated health screenings. If you do not wish your child to participate in one or more health screenings, you must notify the school in writing prior to screening date. Click here to access the form: English Spanish Creole. The Department of Health also provides school-age immunizations free of charge.
