TROPICAL DEPRESSION NINE

UPDATE #1

Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is actively monitoring Tropical Depression Nine very closely. The National Weather Service in Miami has informed us that Collier County is currently within the projected cone of concern for next week.

REMINDER: There is no school for students on Monday, September 26, 2022, as it is scheduled on the 22-23 Academic Calendar as a Professional Development Day.

CCPS will continue to monitor the storm's path and collaborate with the Collier County Bureau of Emergency Management for the latest information regarding potential storm impacts. We will provide updates should there be any impacts to normal school operations for next week.
