Important Information for the Class of 2020 - Update on Class of 2020 Celebrations and High School Transcripts

Class of 2020

Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is moving forward with plans for each high school to offer the opportunity to bring together members of the Class of 2020 in December 2020, respective of health guidelines at the time. This could be their first class REUNION!

You may recall that in April, CCPS announced multiple plans to honor achievements and to provide closure to the Class of 2020 during a season of tremendous change and challenges. One of those ideas included a July 24 in-person ceremony, if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines allowed for a gathering of the entire senior class and parents/guests on a school’s athletic field. The Department of Health-Collier agrees that a large gathering of that magnitude would not be advisable given the current state of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Therefore, there will be no in-person ceremonies in July.

We hope recent graduates in the Class of 2020 are doing well and staying healthy. Remember, you can still access the Class of 2020 Video/Virtual Commencement Ceremonies originally streamed on June 3rd. Visit to view.
