NOTICE OF CANCELATION

The Regular School Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024, has been canceled due to preparations in anticipation of Hurricane Milton.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
As a consequence of the approach of Hurricane Milton to Florida's west coast, notice was posted on October 6, 2024, that the School Board Meeting scheduled for October 8, 2024 at Immokalee Technical Center was being cancelled. Pursuant to Policy 0132, the Superintendent is delegated authority "to take necessary action in circumstances not provided for in Board policy, provided that such action shall be reported to the Board at the next meeting following such action." Given the importance of Consent Items for District Operations, the Superintendent under her delegated authority, hereby provides notice that she approved the Consent Agenda Items and will inform the Board of her actions at the next Special Board Meeting on October 16, 2024. New Business items pertaining to the Florida Safe Schools Assessment Tool will be presented at the October 16, 2024, Special Board Meeting that will be duly announced and posted.
