Collier County Public Schools is thrilled to announce and celebrate our Employees of the Year, whose dedication and excellence make a lasting impact on our students, schools, and community. Please join us in congratulating this year’s honorees: 

  • Frederick Rimmler - Collier County Nominee for Florida Teacher of the Year (Immokalee High School - Engineering & Robotics Teacher)
  • Patricia Hendry - Collier County Nominee for Florida School-Related Employee of the Year (Naples High School - Secretary to the Activities Coordinator)
  • Summer Baker & Lynne Eastman - Outstanding Elementary School Teachers of the Year (Estates Elementary School - Grade 3 Co-Teachers)
  • Maria Hill - Outstanding Middle School Teacher of the Year (Oakridge Middle School - Grade 8 Science Teacher)
  • Shawn Kelly - Outstanding High School Teacher of the Year (Gulf Coast High School - Career & Technical Education Teacher)
  • Lacey Dodd - Outstanding Post-Secondary Teacher of the Year (Lorenzo Walker Technical College - Surgical Technology Instructor)


Superintendent Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli and members of the District’s Senior Leadership team had the privilege of surprising each award winner at their schools, celebrating their achievements in person.

 
At CCPS, we know people are our greatest strength. Recognizing outstanding employees is just one way we celebrate the incredible work happening across the District every day.

 
We would like to extend our gratitude to the schools that submitted nominations, to the teachers and administrators who wrote letters of recommendation, and to the CCPS Professional Learning Department for their unwavering support of this annual recognition. Looking ahead, we invite our school staff to begin thinking about potential nominees for next year’s awards!


We look forward to honoring these exceptional individuals during the May Regular School Board Meeting. The celebration has already started on District social media channels!
