Students to Represent CCPS in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

CCPS is once again honored to have students chosen to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Congratulations to Naples High School students Liliana Capiola and Johnny Mixon-Sayah and Gulf Coast High School student Victoria Carroll!

Liliana, Johnny, and Victoria will be part of The Macy's Great American Marching Band which honors America's finest high school musicians and is comprised of select students from across the United States. The band will be under the direction of Auburn University's Dr. Richard Good and hosted by Music Festivals. The 185 musicians will be complemented by approximately 40 flags and dancers. Students from each state in the union will be represented.

This is the fourth year in a row that CCPS will be represented in the parade and we could not be more #CCPSProud of these students.  Should you tune in to watch, Liliana will be playing the trumpet, Johnny will be playing percussion, and Victoria will be marching as part of the flag line.

We hope they enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
