Barron Collier's Nick Rice Among Top 5 in Nationwide App Competition

Congratulations to Nick Rice, a Barron Collier High School NAF Academy of Hospitality and Tourism student, who is among one of the top five winners of the 2019 nationwide Lenovo Scholar Network App Development Competition! This year, nearly 5,000 high school students in 100 NAF Academies across 21 states participated in the Lenovo Scholar Network to learn to code and develop innovative mobile apps. Nick will be recognized for his achievement in Detroit, Michigan, in July at the 2019 NAF Next Conference.

Recognition also goes to Immokalee High School NAF Academy of IT students Meguine Duvert, Giovanni DeSantiago, Gerardo Cruz, Emmanuel Villegas, Allison Quintero, Arline Martinez, and Claudio Ortega for not only placing in the top 30 of the Lenovo Scholar Network App Development Competition for their respective apps, but also receiving honorable mention in several categories!
