★ CCPS eLearns! ★
March 23 - March 27 (Student Self-Paced Learning)
March 30 - April 15 (Teacher-Led Virtual Instruction)

Collier County County Public Schools (CCPS) is committed to supporting children and families in continuous learning. CCPS is ready to transition to virtual/online continuous learning for students. Below you will find information regarding the schedule for online learning implementation.

March 23 - March 27
STUDENT SELF-PACED LEARNING PATHWAYS
During the week of March 23rd through March 27th, students and families will have access to learning pathways by grade level (elementary and middle) and course (high school).

Student self-paced learning pathways can be accessed by visiting www.collierschools.com/elearns.

These pathways engage students in skills practice and prepare them for teacher-led instruction beginning on March 30th. Each pathway has structured activities for Monday through Friday of next week. Make sure your child completes activities in the following three areas each day:
  1. Their academic grade level or course content
  2. School-level Social Emotional Learning (SEL) content
  3. School-level enrichment activities in art, physical education, and music

Students and families should plan on daily time for continuous learning. Work may be done flexibly throughout the entire day/night. We recognize some families may be sharing one device. All activities are on-demand and accessible based on your family's situation.

Below is an outline of average daily learning time for students, which includes academic content, related arts activities, and social emotional learning activities.
  • Kindergarten - 2nd Grade:  3 hours

  • 3rd Grade - 5th Grade:  4 hours

  • 6th Grade - 12th Grade:  4½ hours
Students may work more quickly or spend more time on certain tasks. Parents and students do not need special software to access CCPS digital resources, only Internet access.

Click on the image below to view a video that will walk you through the student self-paced learning pathways for next week.

Additionally, Continuous Learning Plan packets have been developed for students who do not have online access at this time to these learning pathways. Hard copies of these instructional packets are available for student pick-up at all food distribution sites Monday through Friday between 9am-1pm. Click here for a list of locations.

March 30 - April 15
TEACHER-LED VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION
Starting on Monday, March 30th, students will use the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) to participate in teacher-led instruction. This instruction will be conducted by your child's teacher(s).

It is important to note that online instruction allows for flexibility in scheduling your child’s computer time so that multiple children may use one device in a home.

Teachers are very much looking forward to interacting with their students using online instruction! Further information with detailed instructions will be provided in an update by the end of next week and will be available on our Continuous Learning website at www.collierschools.com/elearns. It will be important for students to access Canvas each day.

IMPORTANT
Does your child need a computer or Internet access to participate in online learning?
A parent survey was sent on Saturday, March 14th regarding student technology needs. If you have not responded to the survey and have computer or Internet needs in order for your child to successfully complete continuous learning online, click here to complete the survey.

CCPS PARENT PORTAL
We ask that all parents visit the CCPS Portal to make sure their contact information is correct to ensure they receive important information. We will continue to utilize all of our communication channels for updates throughout this situation.

Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility while we navigate uncharted territory during these challenging times.
