Class of 2021 Commencement Information for Parents and Guests

 

Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is excited for our Class of 2021 Commencement Ceremonies to be held tomorrow (Friday, May 28).


GUESTS
Current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state the following:

  • People who are fully vaccinated may resume activities without wearing a mask or socially distancing

  • People who are not fully vaccinated should continue to take safety precautions including the wearing of a face mask and socially distancing


REMINDERS

  • DATE: Friday, May 28, 2021

  • TIME: 9:00am

  • WHERE: Each high school's football stadium

  • GUESTS:
    • Each graduate will be allowed up to four (4) guests

    • Seating will be in the stands and/or field using pre-identified, marked seats to allow each participant's guests to sit together, while socially distancing from others
       
    • REQUIRED: Flat shoes for those on the field since heels may damage the artificial turf

    • Only clear 8” x 10” clutch bags will be allowed inside stadiums

    • NOT PERMITTED: Backpacks, cinch bags, coolers, camera bags, purses larger than 8” x 10” clutch bags, umbrellas, signs, or noisemakers

  • ONLINE STREAMING: A LIVE online stream will be available for each high school's commencement ceremony via the District website (www.collierschools.com) and CCPS mobile app, available for free download on both Android and Apple devices


*Lorenzo Walker Technical High School will hold their ceremony at Paradise Coast Sports Park and special accommodations will be made for Everglades City School.
