Immokalee High School's Beta Club Brings Home Multiple State Awards
The Immokalee High School (IHS) Beta Club continues to show its strength at both the state and national levels. Most recently, the IHS Betas competed at the 2022 State Beta Convention and brought home multiple individual and group awards as follows:
First Place
- Campaign Skit
- Character Performance
- Portfolio
- Service Learning Showcase
- Living LIterature (Harry Potter Theme)
- Social Studies (10th Grade) - Lissett Hernandez
- Spanish (10th Grade) - Cristal Gonzalez-Guerrero
- Two-Dimentional Design - Ashley Murillo
Third Place
- Math (9th Grade) - Vanessa Cruz-Vera
- Spanish (9th Grade) - Kelly Garcia
- Color Photography (Division 1) - Kelly Garcia
- Performing Arts Solo, Duo, Trio - Lilia DelaRosa and Andrew Campos
In addition to the performance awards, Eric Martinez received a Florida Senior Beta Scholarship, and Yuridia Calhua Panzo was elected Florida's Beta Vice President.
