6-12 English Language Arts (ELA) & K-12 Mathematics (Math) Instructional Materials Public Review & Objection Process Update
At the Special Meeting held on April 26, 2022, the School Board voted to proceed with the adoption of those instructional materials that were approved at the Special Board Meeting on March 29, 2022. The Math textbooks noted below were adopted by the FLDOE on April 15, 2022. The McGraw-Hill ELA textbooks were adopted by the FLDOE in 2021. The objection period for these instructional materials will close at 4:00 p.m. on April 28, 2022.

The School Board also voted to defer any decision on the instructional materials that were previously approved on March 29, 2022, but were not on FLDOE’s adoption list on April 15, 2022 (see the list below). The publishers of these instructional materials have appealed the decision of the FLDOE. The School Board accordingly deferred the objections period pending the outcome of that appeal.
