CCPS Academically High-Performing School District

The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) has designated Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) as an “Academically High-Performing School District.” Only 14 of Florida’s 67 school districts met the essential criteria to earn the high-performing title, which includes the following:

 

  1. Earns a grade of “A” under Florida Statute (F.S.) 1008.34 for two consecutive years;
  2. Has no district-operated school that earns a grade of “F”;
  3. Complies with all class size requirements; and
  4. Has no material weaknesses or instances of noncompliance in the annual financial audit conducted pursuant to F.S. 11.45 or F.S. 218.39.

 

CCPS shall retain the designation as a high-performing school district for three years, at which time the district may renew the designation by, again, meeting the requirements set forth in F.S. 1003.621.
