CCPS Breaks Ground on New Elementary School
Today, Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) broke ground on its newest elementary school – Bear Creek Elementary. Superintendent Dr. Leslie C. Ricciardelli also unveiled the name of the school’s mascot after receiving feedback from the community. In August 2025, we will proudly welcome the Cubs to campus!
Located at the southeast corner of Immokalee Road and Moulder Drive, Bear Creek Elementary will be built for approximately 1,000 students. The two-story building with single point of entry will feature an outside covered playground and PE pavilion.
CCPS acquired the 22-acre site in 2006. When the school opens in 2025, it will have been 17 years since CCPS opened a new elementary school. For more information on Bear Creek Elementary, please visit www.collierschools.com/bearcreek.
