HURRICANE HELENE

We hope our CCPS family has stayed safe during Hurricane Helene. We certainly keep those severely impacted in Gulf Coast areas north of us and the Big Bend of Florida in our thoughts.

As the storm continues to move away from our area and conditions improve overnight in southwest Florida, we are confirming Collier County Public Schools will be OPEN tomorrow (Friday, September 27). All CCPS scheduled activities will resume, including Friday night football games.

As students return to school, we understand that every family has unique circumstances and concerns. If you feel it is in the best interest of your child(ren) to keep them home, we fully respect your decision. We kindly ask that you communicate with your child(ren)’s school to validate their absence. This will ensure we maintain clear lines of communication.
