SPANISH INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS WORKGROUP APPLICATION

 

The district will convene an instructional materials review work group to consider new instructional materials aligned to the Florida Next Generation World Language Standards for Spanish Language, Levels 1, 2 & 3 courses.  In accordance with School Board Policy 2520, the District is seeking teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, parents, and community members.

Qualified applicants must:

  • Possess knowledge and/or demonstrate expertise in:
    • Written and spoken forms of the Spanish Language

  • Be willing to commit to 2-4 hours of training (after school hours)

  • Be willing to commit to 10-15 hours for review of instructional materials (after school hours)

  • Be able to score instructional materials using an electronic platform and evaluation tool

  • Be available to attend all work group meetings (see published timeline for specific dates)

The District School Board of Collier County, Florida, has extended the Spanish Language Instructional Materials Review Work Group Application for Parents & Community Members only, until 12:00 pm Monday, March 25, 2024.
