Immokalee High School Beta Club Wins at Nationals

The Immokalee High School Beta Club just returned home from the 2021 National Beta Convention in Orlando with mulitple awards in hand! This year's convention, themed It All Began with Beta, brought students from around the globe eager to showcase their talents and academic abilities. During their time together, Beta Club members from across the nation had the opportunity to enhance leadership skills, share service ideas, and develop life-long friendships. Continuing its successful track record, Immokalee High School brought home the following awards:

3rd Place

  • Drawing Division II (Nayeli Ruiz)

5th Place

  • Meeting of the Minds

6th Place

  • Spanish Grade 9 (Cristal Guerrero Gonzalez)

7th Place

  • Service Learning
  • Two-Dimentional Design (Emily Hernandez)


In addition to the honors above, Immokalee's Beta Club won a Service All Star award, and member Dieulerne Deceus was presented with a $15,000 scholarship--the largest in Florida history!
