Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is pleased to announce the expansion of health services for the 2023-2024 school year. The result will be increased staffing of our 50+ school clinics by registered nurses (RN) and health clinic aides (HCA) employed by CCPS and ends the need to outsource our students’ health services. Forty health clinic aides and thirty registered nurses will be working to ensure students’ medical needs while on a CCPS campus are provided by highly trained staff who are part of the school community. 

New for School Year 2023-24: 

• Additional 15 Registered Nurses for a total of 30
• Adding 15 Health Clinic Aides for a total of 40
• Relieves school office staff from covering clinic staff absences
• Greater flexibility to increase nurse availability

School clinics continue to be staffed based on the acuity of medical needs at each school site. We are confident this investment will lead to a comprehensive, consistent delivery of health services for our students.
