ENN NEWS

ENN SCHOOL NEWS FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 20:

  • Cheerleading Tryouts start next week. Interested in cheering next year during football season? Be on the lookout for a Canvas invite. If you have questions, contact Coach Berning or ask a current cheerleader. Clinics are April 28 & 29 from 5-7:30 PM. Official tryouts are May 1 at 9 AM.  All three days are mandatory. You must have a current physical and proof of insurance on your athleticclearance.com profile.
  • Attention all Seniors, please check your Canvas front page. You have been invited to the Senior Sunset Celebration in Baker on April 28th Park BUT you have to RSVP in order to attend. Deadline to RSVP is TOMORROW. The link is on Canvas, go check it out!
  • As we continue to celebrate National Poetry Month, the Media Center invites all students to submit Found Poetry. All participants will be entered into a raffle to win a prize. What is Found Poetry? Found Poetry is created when poets excerpt words and phrases and rearrange them. Instead of starting with a blank page, the words are already provided for you. Like these artists and poets, you just choose what's important or interesting on the page and eliminate the words you don't need. You carve away at the page like the artist you did or didn't know you are! In order to participate, please ask your English teacher for a page from a book that was provided by the Media Center. You can also visit us in the Media Center for a page! Submit poems through the end of April. We can't wait to see what you create!
  • No Best Buddies' Meeting this week, but please feel free to make the effort to meet up with your buddy in their classroom or the cafeteria during your lunch. See you all April 28th for our yummy Pre-Cinco De Mayo celebration, in room 2-104. And, check us out at bestbuddiesonline.org.
  • Seniors: FSW is offering free applications this week through Sunday April 25th. The promo code is Elevate. Visit FSW.edu/Apply.
  • The After School Credit Recovery Club will meet TODAY at 2:15 PM. English is in room 8-104, Math is in room 2-218, Science is in room 5-123, and Social Studies is in room 6-206.
