Our September Student of the Month spotlight shines on our Practical Nursing students! On August 29th, our practical nursing students had their pinning ceremony where they participated in lighting their candles as a symbol to continue shining their light in the world. These students have gone through rigorous course work and with many obstacles that came up in life, they carved their way to a better future for themselves and the community. These ladies broke records for advocating for their class to continue through the summer and for a large majority to be ready to sit for their state board exams before their actual graduation and pinning ceremony. Way to go!
