iTECH loves sharing stories about our students! This month, we want to highlight Luis De la Cruz and Octavio Morales Castaneda from our Heavy Equipment Service Technician program. Both students have been in the program for two years and are set to graduate this year!

Luis has earned his professional ASE certifications in Preventive Maintenance and HVAC, while Octavio has obtained his certifications in Diesel Engines and Brakes. They both plan to pursue more certifications, including entry-level ASE certifications, which can be equivalent to one year of work experience for every three certifications earned.

Excitingly, they have received job offers from Preferred Materials and FPL and are currently weighing which position will be the best fit for them after graduation. Luis expressed, "It's a dream come true to do what you enjoy doing for a career."

Congratulations to both of them on their achievements! We wish them continued success in their future endeavors!
