CCPS Summer Driver Education Program is open to any Collier County student with a current permit and at least three months driving experience. Space is limited and if registrations exceed available seats, students will be selected by lottery.
Program includes:
- One (1) day of classroom instruction
- Seven (7) days of behind-the-wheel driving instruction
- Opportunity to receive Florida Department of Motor Vehicles Driver License test
- Certificate of completion (may support insurance discounts for some companies)
This course is NOT a credit course.

Summer Driver Education Sessions
- Session 1: June 8 - June 18, 2026
- Session 2: June 22 - July 2, 2026
How to register:
- Complete registration form and bring on first day of class.
- Provide a copy of student's permit on the first day of instruction. The permit must be dated at least three (3) months prior to the start of the course.
- Students must always have appropriate footwear and their permit during the course.
