Athletics play an important role in fostering student growth, school pride, and community engagement across Collier County. Through structured competition and commitment to sportsmanship, CCPS athletics provide students with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, discipline, and lifelong health habits.
At the high school level, our eight traditional high schools participate in the Collier County Athletic Conference (CCAC). Student-athletes compete across sixteen sports, offering a wide range of opportunities for boys and girls to represent their schools while competing at a high level within the county and throughout the state.
At the middle school level, our eleven middle schools compete in five interscholastic sports. Middle school athletics focus on skill development, fundamentals of team play, and preparing student-athletes for the transition to high school competition, while emphasizing participation, character, and fair play.
Together, the middle and high school programs in Collier County create a unified pathway that supports athletic excellence, personal development, and positive experiences for student-athletes at every stage.
