National Football Foundation Scholarship
Each year, the Collier County Chapter honors top scholar athletes at the National Football Foundation Awards Dinner. Nominees are evaluated based on academic performance (40%), athletic achievement (40%), and citizenship (20%).
Mission Statement
The mission of the National Football Foundation Collier County Chapter is to celebrate and support exceptional academic achievement and outstanding football performance among Collier County high school seniors nominated by their coaches for special recognition. Last year, the chapter awarded more than $130,000 in scholarships and support to deserving student athletes.
We are committed to inspiring excellence by recognizing student athletes who exemplify dedication on the field and in the classroom. We promote the values of education, leadership, and character by honoring those who serve as role models within their schools and communities.
Our Goals
- Highlight the scholar-athlete ideal by rewarding excellence in academics, athletics, and citizenship
- Support football programs that reinforce educational and character development values
- Engage the community—including coaches, educators, former players, and supporters—in advancing the Foundation’s mission
- Celebrate the history, tradition, and positive impact of the game of football
