High School Graduation Requirements

What options lead to a standard diploma at CCPS?
Successful completion of one of the following:

  • 24 credits as listed below
  • Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) curriculum
  • 18-credit Academically Challenging Curriculum to Enhance Learning (ACCEL)
  • Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway

Scholar Diploma Designation

In addition to meeting the standard high school diploma requirements:  One credit in Algebra 2, Pass the Geometry EOC, earn one credit in Statistics or equally rigorous math , Pass the Biology EOC (or AP Bio Exam), Earn one credit in Chemistry or Physics, Earn one credit in an equally rigorous science, Pass the US History EOC (or AP US History Exam), Earn two credits in the same world language, and Earn at least one credit in AP, AICE or a dual enrollment course, or earn minimum score required to earn college credit on AP, or AICE exam.

Industry Scholar Diploma Designation

In addition to meeting the standard high school diploma requirements: Attain one or more industry certifications from the list established.

* Signifies a different requirement for students who entered grade 9 in school year 2023-2024 and beyond.
