Testing Registration

Home Education and Private Schools Students

Per Florida Statute 1002.41(12), districts must make arrangements for testing home education students registered with your district if the parent/guardian notifies the district prior to the local deadline. Florida statute allows for private school students enrolled in the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program (per Section 1002.395, F.S.), the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program (per Section 1002.394, F.S.), or the Hope Scholarship Program (per Section 1002.40, F.S.) to participate in statewide assessments. Consistent with statute, school districts are required to provide information to these students regarding the locations and times available for statewide assessments.
