The past several weeks have been a wildly different experience for all of us. We look forward to being back to normal as soon as possible, with safety as our utmost concern. Each year the Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation reviews nominees made by all local high schools and selects a winner at the annual banquet. Due to the coronavirus pandemic outbreak, we are saddened to announce that the award banquet has been canceled. The good news is that the scholarship will still be awarded!  Each school’s nominee will receive a $5,000 award, and the overall winner will receive an additional award of $2,500 per year for four years while he or she attends college.

 

The qualifications are quite specific, so please be sure you qualify before applying. All applications are due to our school’s Activities Coordinator via email only. Virtual interviews will take place the following week, and we will announce the nominee at the conclusion of the interview process. The application asks for two letters of recommendation and a transcript. Please allow sufficient time to acquire the required documents, as so many people are working through modified means.
