  • ENN SCHOOL NEWS FOR FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15:

    • FILL THE BOX, FILL THE BELLY this month in your FIRST period classrooms. Teachers, you have all received a collection box from the Class of 2021-please keep a tally count of the box contents. With your help, we want to fill the Harry Chapin Food Bank's pantry shelves with healthy, wholesome, and heart-warming foods for families in need across Collier County. Please bring in most needed items such as pasta and tomato sauce, canned goods and vegetables, canned soups, rice, jellies, dry milk, cooking oils, and breakfast bars. When school is not in session, many of our own go without. Help the Class of 2021 make a difference this season, and FILL THE BOX! First period teacher with the most collected (in items as well as weight) will win a HUGE breakfast party! Your FULL boxes will be picked up on Thursday, November 21 after school. If you have any questions, or need a bigger box, or didn't receive one, please contact Mrs. Stewart immediately! Naples High School has the KINDest students, and this season, it will shine brightly!
    • Attention JSA Members, the Winter Congress application deadline is TODAY! Be sure to hand in your forms to Mrs. Bettridge before the end of the school day TODAY. Your FlipGrid videos must be posted by 11:59 PM TONIGHT! Also, there is a mandatory meeting TODAY for students attending Fall State ONLY! Regular JSA meetings will resume next week!
    • This important announcement for TONIGHT’S football Region Semi-Final home playoff game versus the Miami Central Rockets! YOUR Student Government Association has very graciously agreed to fund student tickets for this game. Here’s how it’s going to work:
      • FHSAA playoff tickets normally cost $8 each but YOUR Naples High School SGA will pay half of that amount for the first 250 tickets sold!
      • So, the first 250 students who buy a ticket to TONIGHT'S big playoff game will have to pay only $4. SGA will pay the rest.
      • Remember, these reduced price $4 student tickets will be sold TODAY during the lunch period only and only 250 reduced price tickets will be sold.
      • Tickets AT the game will cost $8 each.
      • A great big thank you Student Government Association for making these half-priced playoff tickets available!
    • There will be an Engineering and Robotics Club meeting during lunch TODAY in Coach Greer's room. We will be discussing upcoming events, competitions, field trips and volunteer opportunities.
    • The NHS Boys' Soccer team defeated Palmetto Ridge 3-2 last night in a very physical match. Anthony Wicker scored two goals, including the game winner; Luis Baldivieso scored the other. Jonathan Nicacio and Niko Bel were credited with assists.  The Golden Eagles travel to American Heritage in Plantation to play the defending state champions tomorrow at 3 PM.
    • The NHS Girls' Soccer team defeated Palmetto Ridge with the score of 3-0 with goals coming from Eliana Loden and Arianna Kinsley.
