Current research consistently indicates that the principal plays a vital role in determining the quality of his/her school. To quote Roland Barth, “leadership—making happen that in which you believe”, mirrors the philosophy of our district. This statement of belief along with the dynamic, changing needs of our district needs we nurture a successful School Principal Leadership Development Program.
The School Principal Program in the Collier County Public Schools has various levels. Each of these levels are aligned to the Florida Principal Leadership Standards and Key Indicators

Training and Support Service Programs
Training and support service programs will be designed to prepare and sustain individuals who desire to remain as classroom teachers, support and mentor new teachers, or apply for administrative positions from potential to practicing administrators at either the building or district level.
In addition to the School Principal Program administrators receive training in a number of district-wide initiatives.
